Airplane
U.S. citizens flying directly to Assisi can fly into the Perugia airport which is close by. For the lowest cost, check into flying to London, then booking with Ryanair to Perugia. Ryanair offers great deals from London's Stansted airport to Perugia with flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

A courtesy car is available to pick you up from the Perugia airport.

If you prefer, you may fly directly into Rome, Venice, Florence or any other Italian airport and take the train to Assisi.
